So now we celebrate victory over athletic leagues that are formed according to whom the players have sex with? Glad I don't live in Milwaukee. This is an embarrassment.
A group called the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance is planning a huge softball tournament for Milwaukee late this summer.
City officials and VISIT Milwaukee, the main tourism promotion organization in town, say as many as 200 teams and 4,000 athletes will be in Milwaukee from Aug. 29 through Sept. 7 this year to play in the tournament.
