Furniture donations were so massive that Community Church needed to look beyond the three donated semi trailers. George Prescott stepped up to the plate and lent the use of the former KB Toys/Halloween Express building that is currently vacant. Volunteers are currently working at the site to shift clothing, toys and shoes to the location, which is already 2/3 full with the furniture donations. More volunteers are needed. No experience necessary, just c'mon over! Sunday - from the time you read this until the job is done!

You really get to see the true human spirit when it comes to voluntering.
Despite the horrors and problems in the world, despite our personal lives filled with horrible jobs and limited time for fun, we're still able to roll up our sleeves and help out our fellow human beings.
And the church couldn't hand the level of donations? Spectacular; nothing could've sounded better.
I sure hope there are more people who can volunteer to help give man-power to the operation.
I'd volunteer... only I live in another country on the other side of the planet.
