Obama to give the checkered flag on stem cell research

This comes as no surprise.

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is expected to sign an executive order on Monday reversing restrictions on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research. The long-expected move is likely to stir up not only the promise of scientific breakthrough but also the controversy over where government crosses a moral line.

But leading researchers consider embryonic stem cells the most flexible, and thus most promising, form — and say that science, not politics, should ultimately judge.

Interpretation: "But professional killers consider gleaning what they need from dead babies, and thus they are the most promising form - and say that murderers, not God, should ultimately judge.
