A father and four of his children believed to on their way home after a job with the family cleaning business were killed by a suspected drunken driver in Marinette County over the weekend, sheriff's authorities said today.
Marinette Chief Deputy Jerry Sauve said today that authorities have identified the victims as:
■Joel B. Rivas, 44, of Wrightstown.
■Nancy E. Rivas, 19, of Green Bay.
•Elina F. Rivas, 16, of Kaukauna.
•Karen E. Rivas, 15, of Kaukauna.
•Nicandro J. Rivas, 12, of Wrightstown.
"This is a horrific tragedy for us here at Marinette County," Sauve said today. "We expressed our condolences to the Rivas family for losing five family members. This is just terrible."
